"The Bulawayo Club is a fantastic historic place to visit and the staff makes you feel absolutely welcome.The food was outstanding.The best Fish & Chips south of the Equator served along with great local Craft Beer. Certainly a place I would like to visit again in the future! Thank you!"

"The rooms had a lot of mosquitoes and no air conditioning. WIFI was poor. However, breakfast is very good and the property is generally clean. The Staff are excellent they make you feel at home. "

"If only they could have microwaves to warm take away foods, kettles to boil water to make tea or coffee They also have to fumigate their apartments, there are alot of cockroaches. Security looks slack as the outside is umanned and always open even with noone on the reception, intruders or assailants can easily walk in and ravage the holidaymakers willy nilly and walk out unnoticed "

"Staying at the Rainbow has evolved into a cherished family tradition for us, as we have visited several times since 2018. The hospitality provided by the staff, particularly Diane and Tsitsi, has consistently made us feel as if we were returning to a welcoming family home. Their unwavering support and kindness have always ensured our comfort and well-being. Additionally, the dining experience at the Rainbow is exceptional, characterized by flavorful and thoughtfully prepared dishes. We had the privilege of celebrating our daughter's wedding at this venue, and every aspect of the event exceeded our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to my friends and family, confident that they will receive the same high level of care and attention."

"The location is in the very centre of Bulawayo, with walking distance to both the Art Gallery (10 min) and The Natural History Museum (15 min). There are plenty of fast-food and restaurant options within minutes by foot from the hotel. Also, very easy to arrange pick-up/drop-off at the hotel as all tour operators doing excursions to Khami ruins, Great Zimbabwe ruins and Matobo NP know it. The Selborne Hotel is clean, neat and I recommend it. Excellent location and very helpful staff. Some details in my room would need an update, but all in all a really pleasant stay!"

"Excellent old colonial hotel run by wonderful, professional and very approachable staff. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Very warm welcome which remained throughout my 5 day stay. A unique experience with the wonderful old gentlemens club with lots of rooms of rooms to explore topped off with wonderful staff."
