"We had a great visit and the hotel was really well situated. The room was huge, with a big bed and amazing view. We had a problem with our safe which was very quickly sorted out for us.
Staff were amazing especially in reception and the restaurant. We ate twice in the restaurant and both meals were of a very high quality, I'm surprised more people don't eat there.
Pool was bigger than expected and deep, which we like. The garden areas were very well kept with plenty of shady areas for hot days. we had no trouble parking our car, there was plenty of room for everyone.
We do have one negative point though. The room we booked was just a regular room, that we knew would be in a separate block to the main building BUT what we didn't know was that the access to the separate block was via a marble cobbled uphill path through the gardens, which was very uneven in places and not at all suitable for these two oldies or any other person with limited mobility. There were also a number of holes by the entrance door to the block which had been covered by a kind of carpet, not very safe in my opinion.
That said, we managed for our short visit, and the room/view was lovely but next time we'll pay extra to be in the main building."
