"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Very convenient location right at the bridge to get into the downtown core. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and AC in room were very much appreciated due to the heat wave! The buffet breakfast was excellent."

"The hotel and private car park is next to the old town so it’s perfect for wandering around Salers. The reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. Our room on the first floor was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Tea, coffee and a kettle was provided in the room. The bathroom was clean and modern. The shower was very good and there was plenty of hot water. The dining menu was very good, offering local dishes prepared to a high standard and the table service was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style. The only small criticism is that only orange juice was offered and when I explained I was allergic to it and asked if I could have an alternative, the somewhat grumpy man who appeared to be responsible for restocking the buffet said no, I’d have to pay for that as an extra! Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return."

"The room was very clean and well appointed. The front desk welcome was a bit brusk and they did not provide the WiFi password and it was not listed anyplace in the room. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk and since it was after 9pm when we got back to the room we had to go without internet. Other than that, our stay was fine."
