"We stayed at Continental Motel Whangārei and unfortunately had a few challenges 😕 Communication with the hotelier was quite difficult, especially as we were arriving late 🌙 and trying to organise access into the motel 🚪 — this added unnecessary stress to our arrival. The accommodation itself was clean 🧼✨, however the furnishings felt tired 🛋️ and are definitely in need of some refurbishment. One thing to note — if you want fresh towels, you need to place a sign on your door 🚿. I overlooked this, and when we returned late in the evening 🌌, there were no clean towels available, which was quite inconvenient 😣. Parking is also limited 🚗 and operates on a first come, first served basis. This meant we had to park on the side streets or main road 🛣️, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, a clean place to stay, but improvements in communication, amenities, and parking would make a big difference 🙏"
