"The feel of the hotel and its decor was of a classy establishment, where I half expected Poirot to appear at any moment. However, it was showing its age in places. Our room had a number of faults which some general maintenance could put right, but the staff were very apologetic and did all they could to make up for it (there were no other rooms available). The walk up to the hotel from the lower road was steep but manageably short. The views were excellent, with plenty of space in the lounge...
