"I was surprised when we pulled up. The first picture they show in their listing is of a body of water. I didn't see water anywhere. The motel is in the middle of a neighborhood. Their outside area consisted of a pop up tent with patio furniture under it. The younger lady that was working when we checked in was great. However, the older lady working in the morning, hovered over everyone in the breakfast area making sure you didn't take than one pastry or piece of fruit. She even made a comment to one guest that "we are feeding you a free breakfast, not lunch". The breakfast consists of some pre-packaged muffins and pastries, English muffins and bagels, and cereal. There was also some fruit but it wasnt very fresh. You can have milk for your cereal but if you want anything other than coffee or tea, you have to buy it. The onsite "store" in the hospitality room is a nice feature and everything was fairly priced.

"Beautiful historic hotel. Well kept! Very helpful and friendly staff from the front desk to the coffee bar attendant to the restaurant. Nice patio area with live music in the evening. Great location as well. We loved our stay."
"I really enjoyed my stay overall. Parking was convenient, the staff were friendly, and check-in went smoothly. Breakfast was also a nice touch. While the room was clean, it did have a noticeable gym bag smell when I first arrived. I let the front desk know, and they did try to move me to another room, but the hotel had just sold out. I ended up grabbing a room deodorizer, which helped. Despite that issue, I still had a pleasant stay."
