"First off, Ill say the staff that I encountered throughout my stay was pleasant. (front desk-Jessica and another front desk person; a guy whose name I didnt get.)
The manager I had a different experience. I had to talk with the manager over charges on my card. He assured me the charges would drop off up after checkout since they were in pending status. My card was charged 2 days BEFORE I checked in and AGAIN when I checked out, PLUS incidentals (which there were none). When I called the hotel, I spoke to a woman (not Jessica) who basically said the charges on my card was correct and that I need to contact Expedia. After contacting Expedia and showing them the multiple charges on my card, they opened an investigation to contact the manager. Ive booked through Expedia before and NEVER had my card charged 2 days before checking in🚩 when I chose to pay at the hotel AT CHECK-IN.
As for the hotel, it needs upgrades. The first floor/lobby was clean; inviting; breakfast buffet was mostly stocked. The second floor smelled 'wet'; the third floor had the diffuser going, but Im wondering what smell is was covering. The elevator was down a couple of times; the stairs smelled like pee and the lights flickered like something out of a scary movie. On the up side, the sheets were clean.
Overall, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they're in a really tight spot and need a place to sleep for no more than a day, but the price for the hotel is not worth the condition its in."
"Very nice, clean room. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice walk-in shower. The night was very quiet and I slept great. Would definitely stay here again."
"Room smelled like an ash tray. The bathroom wall had blood stains and a bloody hand print on it. The walking path on the second floor smelled like human urine."
