Vagabond Inn Buttonwillow North I-5
"It was inexpensive and adequate for one night on the road. The property is not attractive on the outside. However, the room was clean. It had good A/C. One towel and washcloth for two people. This is not a scenic area. It is three or four inexpensive overnight motels catering to I-5 travelers, truckers, oil field workers etc. Three truck-stop fueling areas. One coffee shop. One Indian restaurant. A McDonalds. Three Mexican food trucks, two of which were closed. A liquor store in another truck-stop on the other side of the freeway. The free motel breakfast consists of a waffle maker, dry cereal, coffee. The coffee shop is recommended for a full breakfast, McDonald’s for fast breakfast and better coffee. The two truck-stops have fresh snack foods, sandwiches, yogurt etc., and better coffee."

"Upon checking in, the older woman was very coarse asked me if I had a dog and I said yes she said is it a service dog? I said yes she said what service does it perform and I said Support and she said that doesn’t count you will have to pay a fee to have your dog stay I said OK. Then I was so disappointed in the Dog area. No one maintains it. It’s ugly. It has feces everywhere. It was very bad experience that I paid for.!"
