"The hotel was being renovated during our stay, but I didn't find it impacted our stay for the most part. The only part that i find they should tell people is that with the restaurant being closed, the breakfast is no better than what many hotels offer for free and it cost us $23.00 + tx. Outside of that, the stay was great, the location was perfect and the staff were really nice. Will stay there again. "

"Overall room was clean though there were beginning of mold in the shower. Considering the age of the building it’s not surprising. Staff is always lovely. Gym was… there. lol but at least was functional compared to my last Montreal hotel. Would stay again for what I paid. The mini kitchen is super useful."

"The rooms were nicely sized. Reception staff was nice and very efficient. No long wait times. Staff at breakfast station was very helpful at filling things if anything was low. Breakfast was very convenient but tables weren't cleaned regularly enough to support the large amount of people that eats breakfast there. Underground parking was $30 a night with in and out access which was very convenient for the downtown location this hotel is at. Also it is very close walk to science center, china town, the basilica Notre Dame and old port. The house keeping wasn't that great. The tub was cloggy and always filled up during the shower and no one clears it. They don't vacuum or mop properly and there's always a bit of dirt at the front of the room. Also, hair is not completely cleared from the room. Food from the breakfast has good variety but not that tasty. The fruit is mushy and even my son won't eat it. The bacon is dry and salty, the sausages felt flavorless chunk of process meat. scrabble eggs were really firm and hard. Self made waffles probably had traces of peanuts because my son had a few bites and started to have hives due to peanut allergy. "

"The hotel was elegant, modern and clean with excellent service. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was served down in the bar restaurant was very good and plentiful, especially the yogurt bowl. It’s a few steps from Notre Dame and the Palais de Congres. "
