"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property, we got the information that it was overbooked and that they did not have a room available for us, I made the reservation 30 min. before arrival. The receptionist's approach to the issue was not very nice, no apology and that I should have checked my messages, so it was my fault that I went to the hotel to check-in (?!).
He reallocated us to a sister property with a lower star rating (Hotel do Paço by Vima Hotels) nearby which by the way was not...

"We had a fantastic stay at the 705, we honestly wished we had extended our stay. Our apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything we need for a few days stay in Porto. It was also spotless clean. But what was exceptionally special about the experience is the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, kind, and wonderful to speak and interact with. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Porto. "

Preferred a better location but still walkable to shops and restaurants within 15 min at least.
Our train arrived at 10am, we were expecting to drop off luggage. Upon arrival, the rooms were ready, but they charged a 10 euro fee for early check in— I feel that’s the only main cons for the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel. "

"Great hotel with a highly rated pizza restaurant located inside. The property was clean and had a great shower and a comfortable mattress. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only criticism would have to be the location. Although it was walkable it was located farther from the points of interest we wanted to see. Other than location it was a wonderful choice. "
