Everything about the hotel was excellent - spacious room, very comfortable bed, facilities inc the shared bathrooms. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Very convenient to eateries, local cinema and shopping.

Lovely place to stay. Very large room, great decor, comfy bed and pillows, would definitely stay again 👍😊
A lovely town-centre stay in a building with real character and charm, they’ve maintained all the colonial features whilst managing to keep the rooms in modern quality, the only down side (which is as-advertised so not a complaint) is that because it’s an old design the bathrooms are shared but they were really clean grand bathrooms not your usual hostel style shared toilets. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. We stayed mid week and excellent value. Definitely a quality cut above a normal pub stay. Will be back to show other friends for sure.
Nice and clean, lots of character.
Helpful staff with easy check in and right in the heart of town, short walk to all local attractions.
Would happily stay again!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the room and bathrooms very clean and fresh the room was spacious and had an area to make coffee and tea
If you think an old Hotel in the heart of Healesville will be a nice adventure, then you are right.
This is a lovely old Hotel with friendly staff.
The restaurant is cosy and good value.
The bathroom is shared, but there is more than one and they are very clean.
The homely vibe is appealing.
Had a fabulous 2 night getaway at the Healesville Hotel. The location was spectacular right in the heart of town. Pub was lively and had a great beer garden. Bit noisy later on but earplugs were provided. Shared bathroom was not problem, never had to wait and loved the old world charm of the place. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
The stay at Healesville was unbelievable value. While many country pubs have little rooms suiting shearers and other itinerants, my room was spacious, the linen faultless and toiletries fragrant. The dinner was delicious, and guests have their own entrance and a key drop for early starts
We loved every minute of our stay at this charming, older-style hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. While the shared bathrooms were initially a concern, we decided to give it a go—and we’re glad we did! The setup was clean and well-maintained, and the great value more than made up for it.
The on-site restaurant serves absolutely delicious meals, and the Monday night barbecues are a must. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the cosy fireplaces with a glass of local wine—such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for character, comfort, and great food at an affordable price.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. Shared facilities looked to be freshly painted. Everything was there for a 1 night stay and the convenience of having dining below was a bonus and good food. Recommend booking ahead if you want the dining room sitting.
Pleasantly surprised by this recently renovated pub accommodation, which is an absolute bargain. Definitely five stars in context.
Comfortable beds and pillows, quality toiletries and clean bathrooms. We were apprehensive about shared bathrooms but with just seven rooms we didn't encounter fellow guests over the two nights we stayed.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again as the location is perfect!
The room was very nice, tidy and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and very clean, with very nice toiletries. While I was disappointed that the pub was closed on Monday nights, there were other good options close by. A very comfortable stay in the heart of Healesville.
It's worth noting that it can be a little noisy given the location, but earplugs are provided for light sleepers.
