Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. Close to food, shops, transport and entertainment. The Stamford is an older hotel built specifically as a hotel. Rooms were super quiet, so much so we slept into 9 am which we never do. One of the quietest hotels I have stayed at. Breakfast buffet was superb with an array of different options and plenty of it. Certainly will return.

This hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are big, the buffet breakfast is excellent and it’s a perfect place to stay with kids. The pool and spa is a massive bonus in the Melbourne winter.

The Stamford Plaza was incredibly well priced for the brilliant location (right near Princess Theatre & Parliament House, on the Collins St tramline right to Southern Cross station), helpful service (looking after our bags before check-in & after we checked out) and gorgeous room with top class amenities. We had a beautiful, relaxing stay and would definitely stay there again next time we're in Melbourne.
