The Savoy is my preferred accommodation in the city. It’s clean, comfortable, quiet, warm, and has an old world style whilst still being modern and new. The staff are always lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend to any traveller to Melbourne.

Second stay at the Savoy and it was excellent again. Great location for walking anywhere. Parking tripped us up the first night however that was our fault not the Hotels. The hotel arranged our parking for the second night. Tip: use the hotel for parking!

Fabulous hotel and amazing location. My only complaint was the parking, it’s off site and not well manned. I would suggest the hotel instead of relying on the intercom system get cards for guests to use it.

The room is actually way smaller than the pictures in Expedia. Only one tiny office chair in the room, for the two of us, means one of us needs to sit on the bed or on the ground. The hotel entrance doors by the street are old school and heavy, not a big fan, automatic doors would do better job. Location is perfect, staff are friendly and helpful. Room deco is pretty good, bathroom condition is pretty good too.

Great experience. Lovely hotel with lots of charm. Doorman Glen went above and beyond. The room was not made up, but it was offered in late afternoon. The buffet breakfast was fresh and an excellent standard. Overall really enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely return.

Perfect location across the street from Southern Cross Station and tram stops. Lots of dining options nearby. Room is quiet even when it’s above a busy road. Breakfast selections were average and the food was barely warm. The mattress in my room was a bit saggy. Will need to be replaced.
