"The outside of the hotel and lobby area are clean and look up to date. The elevator seems like it’s on its last leg. When you get out of the elevator you can see how outdated the rest of the hotel is. The hallways are dirty and foldable beds line the wall. The room is not what it looks like in pictures. Everything is very old. The bathtub would fill with water because the drain is broken. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The whole bathroom needs to be redone, upgrade it for sure. Very outdated tv. Only one towel given when there were two of us staying and the amenities are just a shampoo and couple bars of soap. Is it even worth the $58 we paid. No, I’m sure you can find better in Fes. "

"The Riad is absolutely beautiful, Masha’Allah! Aesthetically stunning and filled with antiques that reflect deep pride and love for Moroccan culture. It’s one of the most tastefully decorated Riads we’ve stayed in and truly captures the charm of Morocco. One of the main reasons for staying at a Riad is to experience Moroccan hospitality, and overall, this place delivered beautifully. The lady at check-in was very sweet and communicated well from the time we booked, but I didn’t appreciate her insistence on negating our pre-arranged tour. We had chosen a tip-based tour, and she strongly suggested using her $30 option instead. The two gentlemen on the night shift were amazing. They offered us a plate and knife for oranges from the common area. Older gentleman (possibly owner), said “Please, this is your home,” and younger one served us Moroccan tea with a smile, free of charge. They truly reflected Moroccan warmth and kindness. What surprised me was being charged 25 dirhams for tea the next day. I didn’t mind paying, but consistency in policies would be appreciated. There was also no iron available. Since Morocco is a Muslim country with many Muslim visitors, I was also surprised they only had one prayer mat when we requested two. Prayer mats should be readily available, as it’s a simple way to make Muslim guests feel at home. Overall, the Riad is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are kind. Just a few small improvements would make the experience perfect. "

"The help we received from our host Sama was outstanding. She worked hard to meet all of our requests and needs. She did an excellent job! Hamid - our daily waiter/bellman - was always on top of things and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Sama set up a day guide - Abdul - that was masterful and informative. Sama also set up a driver - Ibrahim - that was outstanding and kept us safe on a 7 hour day trip drive."

"My family’s stay at this Riad was beyond memorable.All the 4 of us loved every detail of the Riad .The staff couldn’t be more professional or nicer and to name a couple Anwar and Aya .The location was perfect allowing us to access the Old Town as well as the rest .The decoration was breathtakingly beautiful and authentic .We were upgraded to an amazing room on the roof top .Breakfast, the bar , the dining were all excellent .Would highly recommend it to everyone visiting Fez."

"The Riad Jamaï is a peaceful and beautiful place to rest, disconnect and enjoy the city. It’s no near to the Medina, but is easy and cheap take a taxi. The staff is helpful and kind. We dinner at the hotel and the food are so good The pool is small but it’s fantastic to refresh in his wonderful patio. We recommend be a guest at this Riad."
