Loved location

Pillows were great, the breakfast was okay, stayed three days, biscuits n gravy for three days sorta burnt me out, would’ve been nice to have a switch up, eggs w bacon or something like that. Loved the location was not to far from anything we ventured out to see, and not hard to find food nearby, on and off the freeway was awesome.

Overall a good deal for a reasonable price.

Room and bath were very clean. Shower had hot water. However the carpet felt damp and if AC was not turned to 70 or colder the room got smelly. Breakfast ever morning was good. Coffee was good. Pool was closed.

The property is located, conveniently to several areas of interest and restaurants. However, the hotel while it’s not dirty is definitely not the best. We didn’t even have cold water in the sink and the fridge does not work very well.

No frills stay.

For the price you got qhat you got the rooms were not too bad as far as cleanliness but the area that hotel was in needed to be cleaned up a little there were too many homeless peope in the area even though it was across the street from the hospital is what probably made it safer. The pool was closed at the time even though the temps were in the 90s so that was unfortunate 😕 The staff were super friendly and very accommodating

Worth checking into…

Super caring staff and overall good amenities. They had renovations going on and it was a little inconvenient. Only one elevator working and half the parking lot blocked off. Keys were messed up too.I’d stay there again AFTER renovating is complete.

Would not recommend this hotel until its remodel

The staff was great! The breakfast was decent. The condition of the building was extremely deteriorated. My door was broken. The keys only worked on doors sometimes. The location is in dire need of an upgrade and I understand a remodel is planned. I would not recommend this location to anyone right now, but it if was renovated, I think it would be great as the location in Memphis is good.

The front desk staff was very nice. There are only 2 elevators in the building and one was broken for our entire stay. The TV picture would not come on(sound did), the room telephone did not work, the coffee maker did not work, the ice maker on the second floor was broken(as was the one on the ground floor) and on the third floor it was very slow. We won't go back there again.

The only positive things I can say….The shower worked, the sink worked and the toilet flushed. As far as clean, safe, tidy, comfortable, updated, those are not applicable. Only 1 elevator, no lock on our door, no chair, lamps broken and 1 held up with scotch tape, A/C had something in the vents, hair all over the bathroom, burn hole in the sheets, no functional ice machines, I could keep going….

Dont bother.

Check in was a pain, kept asking for my id while he was holding my passport, I said that was my id, got passed that. Room had a huge stain in the rug tv was broken, worked mostly, but the screen was just white light from the top left corner. The mattress needed to be replaced badly, theres was basically a hole in it. The “conference room” has mold in it. At one point they were letting a homeless person sleep in the lobby. It was a very disappointing stay. Location was convenient. Breakfast was very slack, prepackaged hard boiled eggs and scant sausage and biscuits.

Do Better!

My father is in the hospital across from the hotel and although the location is great the hotel s in desperate need of some TLC. The tv stopped working but that was not a big deal and they were able to swap rooms. The breakfast was adequate and warm. My stay was broken in to two stays. On the second stay one of the elevators were out and my elderly mother had to walk to the other end of the building to the elevator. When I asked the gentleman behind the counter he said no this is the room you have when clearly my mom needed a first floor room. That night our air kept going in and out in our room. On the last day both elevators went out and my elderly mother had to walk three flights of stairs. Just do better! Ps. There was one lady on the first stay that was kind and did all she could do.

My stay there was absolutely HORRIBLE!! It was people in the hotel playing loud music. One of the elevators didn’t work and it was people just hanging out sitting down there by the 2nd one that did work. I had to move rooms 3 times!!! I suppose to had a none smoking room! And it smelled so bad just like cigarettes, and the the toilet did not flush at all. So they moved me to another one and that room didn’t have a doorknob and the door would not close At all! So they moved me to another room and that was ok for the most part the walls was just a little dirty. The employee was very friendly and super helpful. She tried her best to make my stay comfortable and get me a nice room. But i was over It.

Don't fall for the online photos!!

I knew going in the hotel was a bit older but the pictures online seemed to indicate it was well cared for and clean. This was not the case. The hotel was very dirty, not just lived in dirty but food ground into carpet dirty, dust/dirt in all the corners, doors that did not close, dents/scrapes and holes in doors and walls. There were 2 smoke detectors in the rooms around us that were beeping. Our room (216) had a dirty tub, the AC unit was in parts and did not work, there was left over stuff form the previous tenants in our room (bed was made), floor was not vacuumed, bathroom not swept or mopped. The only thing we were missing was a chalk outline on the floor from where they moved the body. The elevator did not work, the stairwell had food laying on the ground, there were several lights that were out in the lobby, stairwell and our floor. it smelled like weed and cigarettes. We ended up booking the hotel right next store for 2x the cost and it was worth it. When we went to discuss the issues with the staff, there was a language issue and the manager was "unavailable" to speak with us.
