"I always use the Super 8. It is economical, clean, with a provided breakfast. I would comment that they do not have a gym or pool, but then my needs when traveling are typically a good, clean bed; the fact that rooms are attractively decorated is a plus."

"My stay at the Super 8 Peru, Illinois was a very pleasant relief at the end of a very long day of travel. Exactly what you hope for, friendly; clean; quiet; I felt safe and had a really restful stay. Plenty in the immediate area, food, fuel, shopping. Just off the Interstate... But you wouldn't know it, Definitely will be my first choice next time I'm in the area. Mitz was fabulous at the front desk, very helpful!"

"Overall, nice stay at a good price. The pool hot tub was broken and no towels were stocked. We hadn’t brought down towels. The room was nice, except the bathroom door knob had cut a hole in the wall from opening the door so many times from many people. The room was quiet. I would have brought my own pillow as theirs were really small, square ones. The breakfast was ok, not enough fruit choices or healthy options. Being that the price was right and parking was convenient- I would recommend it despite the imperfections."

"This hotel is advertised as being completely remodeled. There's been major work done, but there are still issues. The bathroom door had issues closing. There must have been a bump in the floor, since it scraped across this to close completely. The paint job in the bathroom didn't appear to be completed properly. May have been missing part of the door frame that made the colors look off. There was a piece of duct tape in the center of the ceiling in the bedroom, but don't know why it was there. The door had been painted for the room, but there were several dents in the door. Going out the side door to the parking lot, the door didn't latch completely, which defeats the security purpose of having to use your key to enter the building. Also, the elevator at the front of the building was not in service. Tried calling the front desk, by dialing zero as stated on the sign in the room, which didn't work as indicated. Still needs some fine tuning to make sure everthing is in working order."
