The hotel is a beautiful architectural style and beautifully decorated.The staff is excellent, very courteous. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a lot of variety.The owner Don Raul welcomed us personally to the mansion of his great grandfather. We felt that we were staying not in a hotel but in a beautiful mansion. For sure we will recommend this boutique hotel to our family and friends.

The place is unique , well kept property ,a historic place . In the heart of the city, what lacks in modern features , it complements with the beauty of the place . The owner calls everyone by their name , takes the time to ask if all is well . Being so close to historic downtown , has its plus and minus, walkable distance to most places , might a bit noisy at night , Still , I Highly recommend this gem

Beautiful and very relaxing. The service was impeccable and the dining for breakfast had many choices and food was freshly served with great presentation. Really nice personal touches from fresh baked cookies, to an outing bag provided with towels and mosquito spray and umbrellas for sun protection. Raul and staff went out of their way to make you feel at home. In the city center, it was a great base to visit the many cenotes and surrounding pueblos. What a great experience. One of our favorite stays we've had in a long time (we travel a lot). The mansion is full of history, great food, and great staff. Right in the heart of town. The food was fantastic. The building full of history and family owned. Raul is the man. Would love to come back.

Beautiful property, everything was very clean. Service was great. Very friendly people. It's close to everything but the downside is that means lots of traffic. Only thing that was a bit inconvenient was the parking if you have a rental. You can't self park but they have free valet service. You just have to make sure you don't forget anything in your car. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Not only is the property absolutely fabulous, Raul and his staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious and the hotel restaurant for dinner was a great option - however there are many incredible restaurants in walking distance. You will not regret a stay at this hotel!

This is the most beautiful hotel in Merida. It is like a museum. The rooms are gorgeous, the food and service is spectacular. The most delicious breakfast in the most pleasant setting. This lovely old hotel has both a gracious staff and classical Mexican accommodations. The furnishings highlight old world charm and exquisite taste. There is wonderful artwork throughout the property, and the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff took excellent care of us. Breakfast was so delicious and filling that we couldn’t eat again until dinner. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

This stunning boutique hotel in the heart of the historic center of Merida was formerly a private mansion. The 14 guest rooms are centered around an open courtyard with a fountain and restaurant. The guest rooms are spacious luxurious. The staff are very friendly and the owner is on the premises daily. The location is ideal being within minutes walking distance to historic sights, restaurants and markets. We would definitely recommend, our stay was incredible!

A Slice of Historic Mexico

Mansion Merida is like stepping into a slice of historic Mexico. The home is perfectly situated in the Centro, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The owner, Raul, whose grandfather built the historic home, was very welcoming and kind. The dining, housekeeping, and reception staff were all very helpful and professional. We will definitely look to stay here again on a future visit.
