Beautiful and convenient location. Room very clean and comfortable, grounds were immaculate and are a credit to the manager/owner. Nice communal BBQ area, directly opposite the lake very short walk to beach and coffee. Casual walk along the lake edge into town area. Highly recommend.

Ground floor unit was well equipped, clean, plenty of room. Sit out on patio and look out over a narrow car & pedestrian pathway to the open water and across to the town centre. Great walk along the water's edge. The manager was helpful. Everything arranged as said. Peaceful & relaxing.

linen needs replacing . access to unit difficult complaint dismissed. instructions as to duties posted on door arrived on time then questioned by staff who entered unit. departure time 9.00 am unheard of. Do not stay.

In my 14 yrs as Manager I have never come across such a rude customer with the biggest "chip on his shoulder", so I won't ever bother to explain his "gripes". I'll just let all the other reviews tell the story. Hope the sun finds you today.

We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation for our holiday in Merimbula! The position was perfect, very short walk to the beach and amazing views from our balcony. The grounds were immaculate and had a great BBQ area and lots of activities for our kids to do to keep them busy. The apartment was ideal for our family of 4, generous size rooms and clean and tidy bathroom and kitchen. We will definitely be heading back there on our next holiday to Merimbula.

The staff were great at communicating and friendly. The property was extremely clean, inside and outside the apartment. The shared facilities were well maintained and lots of fun. Perfect location for a trip to the beach or lake, walk to town or walk over to the boardwalk. Definitely highly recommend.

Thank you for your review Claude. All of our guests are supplied with a "start-up" kit of items in their room on arrival. Lakeside (as advertised) is a fully self contained apartment complex, I guess you are better suited to a fully serviced complex for your needs.

Lakes entrance but without the riff-raff...
Its lakes entrance but without the hassle. True, its a longer drive. Had to break the journey by half staying at the Commonwealth Hotel in Orbost but that was a pleasant stay too. The Lakeside Holiday Apartments Merimbula was the reward for the long drive. Leave the overcrowded, gawking, snap happy tourists on a budget behind and descend on a heavenly waterfront property which is peaceful yet close to all the creature comforts that brings a true sense of being on holiday. Make sure you pack your bikes because there is a fantastic bike track close by! The ice cream shops are a must to visit on a warm summer day. Wake up to waterfront views. Lazy walks and cooked meal in your own kitchenette. The owner/manager is a true Aussie host who deserves 5 stars.

A studio apartment; More like a motel room
Hi the manager was fine, helpful. We just felt that it was advertised as a studio apartment and it was really smaller than some of the motel rooms we stayed in. Also I felt the room was sparse and just needed some nice touches like tissues, face washers etc.

Nice family run apartment.
Close to lake and short walk to beach. The owners are very helpful and have looked after the property well. Our kids loved playing half court tennis & table tennis.
