"Located just a few blocks from the White House, the location is perfect. Room was very nice with a great view of the park, rates were good, the valet parking is a little expensive but very convenient and it's expected at the location. The restaurant is good and with the 15% off for hotel guests makes it a little less overpriced. Would definitely recommend this hotel, a lot of pros and not many cons."

"Property was fine. Breakfast was terrible. But the real issue is that it's absolutely infuriating and should be unacceptable to make a reservation for a room with two double beds, drive 12 hours, get there and be greeted with, "Hi, we've moved you and your your wife and two teenagers to a room with a king bed and a pull out. (Smile, with no explanation)" And then when I questioned why my reservation isn't really a reservation, I got the whole "we oversell our properties whatever percent because blah, blah blah" lesson. None of which should be my problem. Then they asked me, "Do you still want to honor the reservation?" Like, what? Do I want to honor the reservation that you aren't honoring? He said it with a straight face. I couldn't believe he said it with a straight face... Apparently he gets lots of practice telling people this. For what people pay to stay at your places, and for whatever hundreds of percent more your executives are being paid than your lowest wage workers, figure something else out other than, "Uh.... I dunno, oversell everything 20% and just ignore the definition of reservation and how hotels have operated since their inception. We only made 7 bazillion dollars last year." Tell me why I would ever make a "reservation with your company again? I know, I know, 'they all do it.' Be the ones who dont. Eff. "

"Everything was great but parking is expensive, not sure why. So we left our car in a parking lot in DC where we found a better deal."

"The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient, and overall the experience was enjoyable. My only concern is that the price has gone up quite a bit, and it is starting to feel a little too pricey for regular stays."
