We stayed here for a night before going onto Tioman. We found the quadruple AC family room to be neat and clean, clean bathroom & toilet, the hotel staff’s service prompt and polite, and the location excellent (right opposite a 7Eleven, 5 min walk to ferry terminal). Thanks a lot Maura Inn.

Mersing hotels are not good at all
Electricity went down several times, staff tried to repair it during the night (noisy)...not clean...

Good option in Mersing as close to lots of restaurants and shops and opposite 24 hour 7Eleven and coin laundry. Also 5 minutes walk from the jetty. Helpful staff. Basic and clean. Recommended for an overnight pre ferry stay.

It's a good location to stay if you're planning to layover before heading to Tioman island. The Mersing Jetty is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a 7 eleven store directly opposite the hotel and there's a mamak restaurant nearby. The room was clean and the air conditioning was working well. The only thing that wasn't working that day was the water heater. Overall it was a good night stay.

Budget friendly. This was a stopover on our way to Tioman. Convenient to and from bus and ferry terminals. Not easy to find-it’s doorway to a stairwell. AC worked great! Very loud at night, there were a lot people hanging out on streets at all hours.

Hôtel à fuir! Punaises de lits..
Une nuit dans cet hôtel, et encore, nous sommes arrivés vers 19h, nous sommes sortis nous chercher à manger donc revenus à 21h, et nous avons quitté la chambre à 6h du matin! Donc pas vraiment une nuit complète. Nous avons passé la nuit dans cet hôtel car les avis sont plutôt biens en général, et un peu plus cher que les autres hôtels du coin. Et nous avions un bus à prendre à 7h du matin. Points positifs : la localisation qui est vraiment proche du terminal de bus, et du terminal bateau, et l’accueil d’une dame à notre arrivée. Points négatifs : des punaises de lits !! À fuir absolument.. surprise au réveil, mon frère et moi sommes recouverts de boutons (mon frère sur le dos et moi sur les arrières de mes bras), c’est terrible. Nous avons fait 2 autres hôtels en Malaisie, moins chers que cet hôtel et nous n’avons pas eu ce problème. Ensuite insonorisation inexistante, nous avons eu la chambre juste à côté de l’accueil qui est ouvert 24h/24h, donc le personnel de nuit, n’hésitait pas à mettre le son de sa télé à fond, et son téléphone portable sur sonnerie.. lors de checkout a 6h du matin, le personnel dormait profondément sur le canapé de l’accueil, et nous a bien vu devant son comptoir mais sans succès, il ne s’est pas levé nous avons donc laissé la clef sur le comptoir sans pouvoir se plaindre de la nuit très courte et horrible que nous avons passé. Bref, un hôtel à fuir absolument.. regarder les autres hôtels aux alentours si vous avez un stop à Mersing.
