"Very comfortable hotel, spa was well furnished and quiet. Was a little dismayed to have a staff member open the door to the sauna and give a 5 minute lecture on the need to sit on towels while using it, towels were all brown from the benches afterwards.

Unser Standardzimmer war sehr klein und unter dem Dach und meines Erachtens dem Preis nicht angemessen. Außerdem lag es direkt neben dem Auzug, der beim Anfahren und Halten einen mörderischen Krach produziert, sodass wir davon geweckt wurden. So sind wir gegen Aufpreis in ein deutlich größeres Zimmer im hinteren Gebäude umgezogen. Dies war ein schöner Raum, aber leider waren auch hier die Betten hart."
"The room was comfortable, if smaller than some we have used and there were no tea/coffee making facilities but generally OK. Staff were friendly and helpful although parking could be better (we have a disabled badge and parked on-street which was more convenient). Breakfast was good.
The surrounding area was fairly scruffy as clearly this part of Rostock is still in the process of development/improvement. Restaurants were on the other side of what was effectively a dual carriageway with few convenient crossing points but a good choice of outlets.
Rostock as a whole is not an obvious place to visit but there is plenty to see from both the historic and communist eras. The beach resort of Warnemunde is good for high-end shopping and eating although the beach itself is a disappointment. Bad Doberan is worth a visit for the minster church and the "Molli" narrow-gauge railway."

"Perfectly located for arriving by car and visiting Wismar. Parking was easy and free. We had a superior room which was very spacious with a large bathroom. The room had every facility you could want. Very pleased that there were no cushions on the bed, good quality bed linen and towels, charging points beside the bed and lots of storage space. The staff were lovely and the service was good, as was the breakfast. We had no complaints at all. "
