"Clean, comfortable. No handle on bathroom door? Shower good, shutters good for getting a good nights sleep. Aircon worked. Breakfast good. Lots of parking. Lots of car chargers which was useful. Staff friendly. Leon and Buffalo grill next door, so well placed for eating out etc. All in all did what we needed it to."

"If you like old, quaint and quirky then this is the place for you. The proximity to the Loire is unbeatable with beautiful views and walks along the riverside. The room we had (402) was huge but accessed by a very tight and steep staircase. An interesting style of furnishings but the bed was comfy with good linen. The bathroom was also spacious but some DIY to the fixings would help. The evening meal is served by restauranteurs who are not involved with the accommodation. The food was tasty and well prepared at a sensible price. Breakfast is plentiful if a little haphazard."
