"Staff was horrible I called asking for shampoo and 3 days later no shampoo. Had to go to the mall and buy some"

"The room was great, with amazing views. Room service was also great, and there were no complaints about how clean and useful the room was. The only minor thing is that it would be nice to have a humidity extractor in the bathroom. The facilities are great. The property is fairly large for walks and is stroller-accessible to all the sites. The pool temperature was great, and the staff was super nice, helpful, and friendly. They did their best to take care of our needs. One minor point is that the water was not super clean on the last day of our visit. There was some green color in the corners where the kids enter the pool, and in general, maintenance should be improved. We never saw anyone cleaning the pool after hours, which became noticeable after the 4th day. One thing I did not like was the pressure to give a sales pitch when you arrive and when you leave. From my point of view, no is no, and you should not be that pushy with customers when we already pay for our stay. That was annoying and uncomfortable, and people get mad when you say no. Please don't be that pushy. I understand it is your job, but it is ultimately a customer decision. I will for sure stay again here, the pool staff made a big difference for us as we had kids and they really were outstanding."

"This hotel is beautiful and clean and safe . We booked an executive suite with two beds overlooking the golf course, the room was huge and had a modern bathroom, on site parking super safe . Staff is friendly and very professional , place is safe and has room service and comfortable beds . I’ve stayed here many times before and will continue to do so when back in Tijuana ."

"We had $950 stole out of our safe by the housekeeper and they did nothing about it. They searched our room, accused my son of stealing and in the end we left with nothing to be reimbursed for our money stolen."

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta - All-inclusive

"This was our first time at the Hyatt Ziva where we and two other couples came for a week. Overall we had a great time. Keeping from from rating this as Excellent were just a couple of things. The day we arrived, both elevators in the east tower were broken and people were lined up to take the service elevator. The problem was fixed by the end of the following day, but it was quite a hassle. The room amenities were good, but I was surprised at the lack of any ice machine in the building, anywhere despite supplying an ice bucket in the room. One must either order ice from room service or go to the nearest open bar with your room's ice bucket. The food was good, but not excellent (although I felt the Casa Grande was bordering on excellent); food options were good, we never had a problem getting a table, but a first class meal with good wine would require you to pay an up-charge. All that said, I'll repeat that we had a great time here. The staff were universally excellent; friendly and helpful. The beach was very nice, plenty of palapas and chairs, good beach service. Plenty of pools, but more limited chairs and shade around some pools. All in all, I think we would stay here again."

"All of the staff was very attentive and welcoming. From the front desk staff, cleaning staff, waiters, and bar tenders, everyone would go out of their way to make sure you were taken care of. Any time we had a special request, they always made an effort to animate us. We never heard a "we aren't able to" "sorry, we can't", it was always "not a problem" or " let me see what I can do"."
