There was a lot of construction going on when we were there, so hard to judge some aspects. The reception people were exceptionally nice and helpful. Great location. Our room was more a suite, with a separate room with kitchenette and dining/seating area.

Excellent position but should not have accepted our booking. In midst of major refurband we were only guests in the only accessible room. Not a good experience.

La ubicación estaba bien. Sin embargo el hotel fue una pesadilla. El polvo era tanto que no se podía respirar bien. No tenían nungun servicio para comer, ni tomar si queira café. No hay nada ahí. Terrible.

Pésimas condiciones del hotel

Estuve esperando media hora afuera sin que nadie me abriera la puerta. La habitación terrible, olía mucho a humedad, tenía al menos 5 goteras que hicieron ruido toda la noche y la cama estaba mojada por las mismas goteras. De la regadera apenas salía agua. Nada recomendable.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location, in the center of the action and right acress the street from a charming little park. Unfortunately the rooms are pretty dated and the bed was 2 small bed pushed together to make a larger one. The is also construction going on and as a result there is noise and dust. The staff however was wonderful.

No regresaría

En mal estado el hotel, la habitación con hormigas, con óxido en el baño, las sábanas gastadas. La decoración horrible y viejos los muebles. El patio sucio y sin funcionamiento, las fotos de la página es una ilusión. La regadera con sarro y se desperdicia demasiada agua para regular la temperatura del agua. Lastima porque está bien ubicado.

Con tiempo reservé y el mismo día de llegada me enviaron a otro hotel en Polanco porque estaba sobrevendido el hotel, a parte muy lejos de donde yo necesitaba quedarme. El servicio pésimo para solucionar el grave problema en que me habían metido. Cero cordialidad, y tuve qué cancelar para buscar yo misma otro lugar. Lo que sí es que cobran en el instante y no se hasta cuándo me regresarán mi dinero.

Pésimo hotel

NO LO RESERVEN!!!! No respetaron la reservación, la cobraron, dijeron que no era su problema sino de Expedia, Expedia pésimo xq lo único que hizo fue procesar el reembolso que se tarda 15 días cuando ellos cobran de inmediato y les valió gorro dejarme sin habitación todavía me dijeron que me hacían el favor de no cobrar gastos de cancelacion. Pésimo hotel. A otro amigo le hicieron lo mismo!

Ubicación

El hotel tiene excelente ubicación para caminar, obtener diferentes medios de transporte. La plaza de Luis Cabrera le da una sensación de tranquilidad. El inconveniente que tuvimos es que no hay donde dejar el auto cuando toca no circular y los dos estacionamientos cercanos son caros. La ubicación del hotel también es excelente por todos los restaurantes a su alrededor..

Nice small hotel overlooking Plaza Luis Cabrera

Most of the hotel staff was very helpful. They did not have a map of the surrounding neighborhood, but the young man at night searched online and printed out a very nice one for me. They are renovating some of the upstairs rooms, which I didn't see, but the room I had was very nice. Rooms on the street side are noisier, but overlook the nice plaza below.

Great location, awesome staff.

The place is located right in the middle of everything, with restaurants close by. The room was quiet and clean. The staff was very helpful with my questions. Booking it on Expedia was half of what they charge if you just called for a reservation, so that was nice.

Dishonest concierge and uncomfortable beds.

Positives: Located in a nice kind of quiet neighbourhood, good restaurants and coffee shops around. Front desk staff nice and friendly. During my stay, they tried to help me the best they could. Street noise and light to a minimum. Cleanliness is ok, will clarify on my negatives. Doorbell entrance to this hotel adds to the safety provided. Stayed at the master suit, its spacious and has a separate small sitting, kitchenette area. There is a safe in the room. NEGATIVES The concierge personnel was a bit dishonest by going through our belongings, nothing was stolen only my perfume was used to try to disguise the smoke smell. we found some cigarette ashes in the sink which she forgot to clean after her/his smokes. We left a message for management of this hotel but never heard back. I would have been more generous if this was addressed, a simple apology would have been sufficient to overlook all other negatives and recommend or stay again at this hotel. showers are decent but has no decent ventilation so it fogs immediately, our room had one giant popped bubble form by water leak. Beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are really hard and thick. Not close to main attraction but accessible through taxi and is also close to subway station.
