Incredible hotel right in the center of downtown Mexico City. There was no shortage of places to visit and explore all within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here if you want to visit the city.

Our stay at Casa Filomeno was amazing! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. From an effortless check in, which was 1:00 am, to check out, everything was perfect. Fransisco who worked in reception was incredible. He was always there to help with any of our needs. He went out of his way for us many times. The location was in a very safe and vibrant neighbourhood. The beds were so comfortable, and the suite had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. Also wanted to acknowledge Joanne and Esa who cleaned the rooms, they were always around if we needed any extra supplies. We also enjoyed the deck, and would have our happy hour up there watching the activity on the street. A wonderful hotel to have as a home base to enjoy a wonderful city.

The hotel itself is really pretty; if you're planning on staying here, specially on the hotter months, do keep in mind that the roms don't have AC, at night time it cools down, but close to impossible to take a nap on the day time The location is great, there are a lot of restaurants and touristy stuff around, but it's a very busy area of the city, there is a lot of traffic and people at all times, and it might also be a newer hotel or changed names, cause no taxi or ubr driver knew about it, so, have the address handy just in case As of cleanliness, the cleaning ladies came in every day, I honestly do not know why, they would not take out the trash, the bed were made on top of whatever was on the it, they did not change the towels; I asked the front counter, they did say that towels are only changed after 3 days or I could pay for the service, I agreed and he told me he needed to check how much would that cost me, that he'd come give me the information. He never got in contact nor did they change my towels & charged my card on file or anything... Do I regret the stay? No Would I come back? Also, definitely no

Chose the hotel because of the location its in. Walking distance to museums places of interest . We check in i reserved 2 rooms , time to shower my guests never had warm water. Notified staff we will fix never did. Never suggested change of room with all of the utilities, no apologies no solutions. Please, please do not go thete.

Other than a complete lack of hot water, no heating, and the hotel's location on a major (loud, disruptive) political protest route and tourist area, this hotel is cute and close to a few historic sites. I would not recommend coming in late fall or winter because of the hot water + heat situation, unless only for a very short stay. Otherwise, enjoy the nice hospitality and clean rooms in this well maintained and historic building.

This property is wonderfully located in the Historic District of Mexico City. I don’t know if you could find a more elegant apartment anywhere. Great location. Restaurants, pharmacy, medical evaluations, museums, a pedestrian only boulevard, and awesome city park all easy to enjoy. Francisco ensures security and is very helpful to make sure you feel safe and welcome.

Excellent. The location, between the Zócalo & Alameda Central, couldn't be better. Francisco is eager to help with any issues. The café right across the street is friendly & convenient. I'm so glad we chose Casa Filomeno. Be ready for lots of street noise - I'm sure that's true everywhere in Centro Histórico.
