I travel frequently and rarely write reviews, but my experience at Hotel Habana in Mexico City was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other travelers. The hotel operates in a very outdated manner no computer system, everything done by paper receipts and handwritten notes. I didn’t mind that much; it just made the check-in and check-out process feel slow and unorganized. The real issues started once I got to my room. The first room (3rd floor) had an air conditioner that made a loud, unbearable noise. I asked to be moved and was given another room. The fan in this one also made noise, but it was manageable or so I thought. The next morning, I woke up with 7–8 bug bites all over my arms. I immediately reported it, and the staff claimed they had just fumigated. The following day, the situation got worse now I had about 13 bites, including one on my eye, which became swollen. It completely ruined my trip. I had to go to a pharmacy to get medication just to deal with the itching and swelling. When I brought it up again, the owner asked me if I might be allergic to fumigation. That was an absurd question I had visible bites everywhere. At checkout, all I received was a casual “I’m sorry.” No refund, no discount, no genuine effort to make things right just an empty apology and an offer of a “free night” if I ever came back. Needless to say, I would never return. This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life unhygienic, unprofessional!

Aside from the hard bed, we were really happy with this hotel. My elder mother and I stayed 2 nights. We found the room spacious, clean, the bathroom spacious and ample. However, the cleanliness and property ratings dropped from 5 to 3 because on our last night, as we were leaving, a roach ran across the bathroom. I have an aversion to roaches, so this killed me. Thank God we were leaving. The bathroom window is the only one we found that opened, and so it was often cracked open. It is possible/probable that the roach came from outside. I would advise you to keep this window closed as there are no screens to keep roaches and insects out when you open them. Other than this, a pleasant stay.

Nos hospedamos por 3 noches y fue espantoso nos recibió una cucaracha en el baño y lo peor no se puede descansar ya que hay demasiado ruido en las habitaciones tanto de día como de noche no se puede dormir fue terrible

The hotel holds a lot of workers from around the city. In the morning starting at 6am they are extremely loud. So no sleep till about 9 when all has cleared out. Other than that great location and great room. Also has a fabulous roof top patio. Very close to Zocolo.

Es una gran opción para estadías cortas, si van por más de 5 días tal vez necesiten un lugar con más amenidades. Pero es limpio, tranquilo, tiene lo básico para viajeros y están disponibles si necesitas algo.

Hôtel correct si vous voulez être proche du centre historique. Chambre propre et personnel très gentil. Safe à disposition dans la chambre. Attention par contre : - pour mes 2 premières nuit je n’avais pas d’eau chaude dans la douche (au moins je ne m’éternisais pas !). - Aucune isolation sonore, j’entendais tout ce qu’il se passait dans la rue et dans les couloirs de l’hôtel. Pas l’idéal si on a le sommeil léger ou si on ne veut pas que tout l’hôtel soit au courant que vous êtes en train de “faire du sport”.

Pésima atención

No regresaría a este lugar. La ubicación es buena, la habitación cómoda y el mantenimiento adecuado aunque había cucarachas en el baño. Lo que más resalta es la atención, es pésima, con mala actitud y prepotente. Todo el tiempo sentí las miradas acosando. En recepción te atienden de mala gana, como si te estuvieran haciendo un favor, nunca fueron groseros ni me faltaron el respeto, pero si con mala cara y actitud. No me respetaron la habitación que reserve y pedían un cargo extra. Su solución la cual me repitieron en 3 ocasiones fue "pues si quiere cancele". Me explicaron que lo que ellos ofrecen es diferente a la publicación, así que no esperen recibir lo ofertado. Mi error fue no leer las reseñas del lugar ya que más personas han resaltado la mala actitud del personal

El hoyel esta limpio y bien ubicado. Muy cerca del metro allende, nos toco en la ultima habitacion del 1er piso. Pense que era uba excelente ubicacion, alejada de ruido de la calle. Pero toda la noche lis huespedes azotaban puertas cuando llegaban y en la madrugada una huesped de 3 piso abrio su ventana la cual daba al area libre donde estaba mi ventana y platicaba a un volunen exagerado. Todo es escuchabamos. Casi no pudimos dormir
