Everything started off great. Apartment was nice. Surrounding area was wonderful. I made this 6 day booking through Expedia. However on my last day the property VH reached out to me not through Expedia but via What’s App at 11am asking to enter the unit between 12-1 because they wanted to show it to a potential buyer of the property who was in town that day. I declined due to valuables being present in the apartment. They read my message and did not reply. I continued to message them multiple times to confirm no one would enter the unit. Again they read all messages and still no reply. Leaving me feeling unsafe for me and my belongings. I reached out to Expedia about them potentially allowing someone in without my permission. Expedia tried to contact them and was ignored as well. I continued to try calling and messaging them for acknowledgment of me saying no. They continued to leave me on read. This left me scared for my safety and trapped in the unit for hours protecting my valuables for fear of them going ahead without my permission. Finally about 2 hours since the original message they responded saying they wouldn’t enter the unit. This caused me major stress and discomfort and took hours away from my vacation. This company virtual homes is highly unprofessional and shows no concern for the safety or privacy of their clients. I would not recommend staying at any of their properties.
