"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. The pool area is very nice and the restaurant (G’s) is good. There is also a lapa area where they do a traditional braai (think bbq on steroids) and a river area you can walk to. "Location was amazing!"

"The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof."

"All of the rooms were beautifully renovated. The food was incredible, everyone in the staff went out of their way to make sure that guests were happy, and they called everyone by name. The Safari rides were over the top and our guide Stuart and his tracker Colin were very knowledgeable and professional. The jeeps were brand new and very comfortable. We were sad to leave after an incredible 3 night stay at Leopard Hills."
