"I booked the hotel for thirty days and ended leaving after 4 days.
The pictures may look pretty and filtered, and the name sounds wonderful. But the experience was not, this place should be named Eden Encampment. How this is labeled as a 3 star hotel is beyond me. This is at most a 1 star hotel on its best day.
It was advertised on hotel.com as having free wifi, to my dismay there was NO WIFI. The owner tried to play it off by providing me with a sim card 2 days later, I was charged for...

"Jag och min fru besökte hotellet under vår smekmånad i Tanzania. Detta hotell var helt nyöppnat och vi var väldigt skeptiska till hotellet när vi först bokade eftersom många av bilderna var genererade och inte faktiska foton... Men vi chansade och fick en superbra upplevelse. Allt var väldigt rent och fräscht och personalen var väldigt måna om att vi hade det bra. Vi blev uppgraderade till ett bättre rum än vi bokat eftersom det fanns tillgängligt och blev även bjudna på saker under vistelsen...

"We really enjoyed our experience at Ycona, one of the nicest hotel experiences. The hotel was really well laid out, and the staff were incredible, the friendliest and kindest people. It was also a really good move by the resort to have a WhatsApp group that had all the staff on it so there was always someone able to assist our requests.
Thank you to everyone for the experience, and for making my wife’s birthday special at dinner with a vibrant happy birthday song! I would definitely recommend...

"Beautifully laid out, beach right out every front door, very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, great food and a quiet but still family atmosphere. You can tell the owners give a lot of attention to the details. Pool was so clean and beautiful. Also the landscaping was stunning and gave it an upscale resort feel while still having an intimate feel. They set up an excursion and airport ride and made the whole process easy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and would stay here again!"
