"The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk personnel was very accommodating. The only problem I had was when checking out, I asked for a receipt. She said I would have to get it from Expedia, they couldn’t give me one. Breakfast bar was super, everything was fresh and the pastries were warm. Coffee was hot and good. Will stay here again when we come back to Texas. Excellent! "

"The check in staff was very warm, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The only issue was that the heater worked too well in my room. I had to turn the thermostat down to 60 just to be somewhat comfortable while sleeping. I did not try the breakfast so I can’t speak to it. The building is old but the rooms have been refurbished and updated. The wallpaper in the hallways could use some attention. Some of the seams are coming apart which makes it look unkempt. Otherwise they seem to have done a good job of updating the property. And the rate could not be beat! I would definitely stay there again if I found myself in town and needed lodging, as long as they have kept up their standards!"

"Room was clean, very quiet. Breakfast was great. We arrived around 8 pm but we let the mgr know and he met us when we arrived to check us in, take our breakfast order and walk us over to our room. Walking distance to the center of town. Two blocks. "
