"The hotel was clean and staff were polite. A treat was having clam chowder available in lobby at 5:00. The view was okay but thought it would be on the bay front. We were on the 3rd floor so we could see out over the dry dock with boats. The river walk was pretty short. Breakfast selection was good."

"10/12/2026-My husband and I stayed the weekend at the Astoria Rivershore Motel this past weekend. We were in town to go crabbing so we were out all day each day and didn't get back to the room until the evening. Amenities were good. We had a coffee maker with coffee (not Keurig-so don't bring pods), fridge, and microwave in the room which all worked well. It had a nice large TV with cable, updated decor and bathroom. Everything was pretty clean. The only places that could have been a bit better as far as cleanliness, was behind the bathroom door was dirt in the corner of the room, the bedspread had what looked like a black grease stain on the edge and it was very dusty/dirty under the chair near the window. (We dropped something and had to look under the chair to find it), and a dime sized black mark on the bathtub wall. None of these things were things I couldn't look past. Being so close to the road, you can hear traffic but that's to be expected. It's a small town so not a lot of traffic during the night but fisherman get up early and start heading to the water in the A.M.. We brought our own white noise machine and that drowned out any traffic noises, so no biggie. All in all, its a decent place to lay your head for the weekend. We would stay again."

"This place is great. Not super clean and in need of updates. . . but for a low price, I’ll take it! The staff is wonderful, this was my 2nd time staying and BOTH times the office staff were 5 star. The guests were not being disrespectful. There was enough parking. Yes the fridge in my room was probably 30 years old and the microwave is rusted out, but guess what? They both work. The walls are thin, I could hear the guy in the next room snoring and also kept hearing his phone go off, but did I eventually get over it and fall asleep? The way I see it, Heidi’s charges a bit less because the premises isn’t as nice as the places that are $250 a night. Not everyone wants to spend $250, and those people (me) should give Heidi’s a chance! Totally reasonable and it leaves cash in the budget to grab a pizza next door."
