"It is actually a nice property but its attitude to guests is off the mark. The check-in instructions are complicated and officious. The door entry system is weird and puts you at the mercy of your phone's battery. They don't let you control the heating and warn against using too much hot water. They would charge you for the air you breath if only they could measure it. It feels like they would be happier if no-one stayed there. Perhaps the place is managed by Basil Fawlty?"

"Quick check in, in the room with in 5 minutes. Room was spotless and comfy. Nice to have a sofa to sit on instead of the usual one chair and the other sat on the bed during down time. Breakfast had a great variety, two notes though. Coffee and my tastes was pants and if you want to try and get a waffle then get down a few hours early as you have no chance with the kids queuing up for an age. Maybe another waffle machine would help. "

"The reception staff were so welcoming, especially Jen who welcomed us like old friends. So chatty and lovely and a such a great start to our trip. Hotel and room was clean and looked great and just what we needed. Rooms were nice and warm during this cold weather however the hallways were a bit chilly! Would absolutely recommend and will return. "

"Room was a perfect temperature, nice towels and bedding. The tv was well positioned and the water was hot at all times Breakfast was good but some foods could have been a little warmer but that’s often the challenge for buffet service. The range and availability was great though. The lounge and bar are was very well run by professional and friendly staff who definitely know how to deliver great customer service. Drinks and food were all up to the required standard. The reception team were also very helpful and friendly providing good information and a smooth experience "

"Warm, welcoming staff who go out of their way to correct any and all concerns Very cute rooms, warm and cozy, nicely decorated. Clean, modern bathrooms. Great neighborhood, easy walk to the city center, easy for Uber rides, and some phenomenal restaurants only steps away: Chinese noodle soups, coffee/bakeries, and the Rose and Crown tavern, which has the best meat pies, Sunday roast and sticky toffee pudding ive had yet in England. Highly recommend this hotel."
