"Breakfast Buffet was pricy - could have gone outside the hotel for a better cost and food. Internet connections kept dropping - do not get any rooms with numbers higher than 220/320/420. Told the front desk but nothing was done about it. Clean room but watch out for the bathrooms glass door which was not very private. Park in the back - closer to lobby. Restaurant staff was very good and attentive. A-Plus to them."

"The hotel was easy to find, and we were greeted immediately upon entering. It is a beautiful space. We also appreciate that there was not an upcharge for parking, and that there were EV stations. We had two "issues." The first is that in the photo of the room we booked, there was a table, a desk and a chair. We had planned to play cards, so we specifically were looking for a room with a desk / table top height table. The room we got only had a coffee table. We made it work, but it was different than what we wanted or expected. Additionally, our room (#4) was right next to the common room where everyone eats. There is no sound proofing - so when people turn up the tv in that area, you hear it. When people come down for breakfast with kids at 7am, you hear their conversations and their children. When people go in and out to the back deck, you hear the door opening and closing. If you are a light sleeper (like I am) then this is a major negative. Overall, I'd say here again, but definitely not in that particular room. "

"Hotel location was perfect the room was very outdated the lamps sparked in the outlet when you turned them on. The tub didn’t drain very good and the overall room needed some TLC. Staff was great the pool was beautiful and the bikes were an added plus. "

"Great place for the price we paid. Nice lobby and breakfast included. Great and friendly staff. The room is relatively clean. Gym is very ill equiped. Theres a pool, hot tub and sauna which were nice but the water was very murky."

"Fantastic hotel. The staff was exceptional, so many details were thought of. Tons of gathering areas in the lobby, bar, and elsewhere. Loved the pool table and dart boards in the bar. Restaurant had a gorgeous view and really good food. Room was very clean, everything smelled good. No complaints at all, overall this was a really nice hotel worth the splurge!"

"Old(er) hotel that has been upgraded. Beds and pillows were comfy. Twice management came to see if I was smoking (I wasn’t) and twice housekeeping came while I was drying my hair. Seems like the noise of the hairdryer would have been pretty noticeable? The room next to me partied until 5am. Perhaps that is the room that was setting off the smoking sensor. All in all it was adequate. I think I was expecting more. "

"Staff was polite and willing to wait for us even though we arrived in the wee hours. The king size bed was so soft, my back hurt really bad during the night. Other than that, the rooms were great and had shower products available. Walls were a bit thin so I could hear the people next door talking and snoring. Location is great and a quick drive into downtown Newport. We didn't like the free breakfast at all."
