"I was initially given the wrong room, and it took over 3 hours of arguments and repeated follow-up calls before I was finally moved to the room I had actually booked. I booked a room with bath and I was given a room without bath because the correct room was not ready. Despite raising a complaint, the property treated the situation as though it was perfectly acceptable simply because the correct room was eventually provided in the end. Pathetic customer service"

"Rooms are incredibly small but efficient, and the proximity to the train station is convenient. Unless you need to catch an early morning train or bus though, I'd find elsewhere to stay simply because the area feels a bit questionable. It's also very loud. If you do stay here, ask for a room that doesn't face the street. It sounded like our windows were open and there was a ton of noise from cars driving by and people talking loudly or sometimes screaming outside. Ear plugs barely helped. Staff was friendly and there's free coffee available at any time."

"Excellent hotel for the price at the time. Everything looked just like the photos online. This is a high end, elegant hotel of the Marriott system. Staff was super. My next door was noisy and smoking. The front desk offered me another room! I never expected the treatment. The location of the hotel might be the best in town. Just cross the road, you are in the center of the city. I love this hotel and will definitely come back when I can. "

"We were greeted by a very friendly staff member, who shared all the details of our room and hotel. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with seating space for many guests. Staff paid great attention to keeping all foods well stocked. The front clerk gave us a handful of dinner options all within a five minute walk."

"The stay was nice, but not without a few issues. Check in was easy and the staff was pleasant. Our hand soap in the bathroom was empty and they do not offer face cloths/wash cloths. There is a bar but reception is responsible for it and does not have any mixers. If you want a rum and Coke you buy the rum and the Coke comes separately, so mixed cocktails don't exist. The hot tub was great, and the property itself is well maintained. Our air conditioner worked fairly well but not great. The tub was slooooowwww to fill but the hot water was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The location is convenient to the Midi train, but is not super close to the main tourist areas of Brussels. We didn't have problems getting taxis or Ubers, but there is construction going on in front of the hotel so we had to walk a little ways to catch them. The area is highly mixed nationality and we were told it was safe, just look out for pick pockets. We didn't have any issues as we walked around."
