"The only reason I gave a bad review was that I traveled with three children who very much expected an evening of swimming. We had paid and been given the room keys before we were told the pool was out of order for the whole weekend. No discount was offered. They didn't tell us beforehand giving us the option to try somewhere else. Very disappointed."

"Beautiful location, kind employees, great breakfast, but the house itself is in a bit of disrepair, including some of the furniture and decor, the art on the walls are aged and faded in color, even the arches and shutters of the house need basic repair and re-paintinng. Has a lot of potential to be a truly beautiful spot, but it was disappointing to see the condition."

"The staff here were excellent and the hotel offered lots of quirky little amenities- free iced tea, popcorn and a free to use cappuccino machine in the lobby. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and the rooms were clean, if unremarkable. The hotel itself was very quirky and reminded me more of a bed and breakfast than a chain hotel. My only complaint is that the pillows could have been better, but for the price this hotel was fantastic. I would definitely stay again."
