"Excellent customer service from Bobbi Sue! Wicked clean cabin and I felt like we were treated like royalty. Loved hanging out in the Adirondack chairs on the cabin deck and watching the wildlife in the private lake. Also, the outdoor fire was raging and was perfect for our marshmallows and s'mores sticks that are in the office! Would hands down stay at this property again and definitely plan to in the future. "
"We stayed at the Franconia Inn for two nights over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. Even though we had to check in very late at midnight, the inn was extremely accommodating and made the process smooth and stress-free.
Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with just the right New England charm. The common areas were equally inviting—warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing between outings. The continental breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection and great quality that set us up for the day.
Overall, the Franconia Inn combines charm, comfort, and great hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."
"I wish the room had a microwave, mini fridge and coffe maker just so i don't have to carry so many stuff from home lol but besides that i love this place , second year visiting and will continue to visit. Owner is very nice and makes you feel welcomed and checks on you to make sure you have everything you need. If you just want an affordable and safe place to sleep this is the place for you!"
"I absolutely LOVE staying at Sunset Hill House any time im in the area. The only thing this time is i booked the premium sunrise, while the view was great, the room left some to be desired. I always look forward to the oversized tubs and being currently 8mo pregnant i was looking forward to the jet massage. However when i turned the jets on, the tub was immediately filled with grime and dirty flakes which looked like clumped dead skin. I ended up opting for a shower. The bed as well was more uncomfortable for my partner and myself as the mattress topper pad would not stay on straight and kept sliping and sliding causing bunching, which made it difficult for myself to get out of bed at times. I dont think ive ever had a complain about this location but i was definitely slightly disappointed this time around and hope house keeping can address the dirty jets and give them more attention.
