This was a great location, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the view of the lake was perfect. I'm already planning to stay here again on my next visit to the area. "

"Without hesitation the front desk attendant asked me if I would like to switch to a ground floor room because he OBSERVED me and my cart with bags moving slowly. I did not have to ask or complain… I was asked…so in a second we exchanged keys and went from 205 to 109. That is an employee who cares about your stay!! Thank you!"

"Wonderful. Believe all the positive reviews. This updated motel is cozy, quaint and oh so very clean. The bathroom is large and bright. The beds are comfortable and larger than i thought by "double" bed. Rooms have a front door (where you park) and also a back door overlooking the countyside with a table and chairs and sidewalk to the pool. Speaking of, Paul is so nice- he got the pool going Memorial Day weekend so we could hop in it! He also runs the gas station/convenience store which has just about anything you could need or want, including beer or ice cream by the scoop. The motel isnt very walkable anywhere else and is about a 12/15min drive to downtown Cooperstown but there are many stores and restaurants between on a pretty country road. I would definitely recommend and would stay again."
