"As a very experienced traveler with hundreds and hundreds of hotel nights, I dare to say that this is a place that reaches the top ten of good hotel experiences. Fantastic family that runs a high-quality agriturismo with a view that takes your breath away. "Workers were kind and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The surroundings were amazing, and while there was not night life, they included a pizza and bottle of wine for dinner! I'd definitely stay here again. It was beautiful, tucked near Mountain View's, with a room that had 'old-world' charm. "

"We did NOT stay here as it was disgusting. There was no toilet seat in the ladies toilet. The pool was green & you definitely wouldn’t have risked going in it. There was 1 member of staff serving drink but the owner/receptionist wasn’t even available. In talking to other guests (bless them! They were stuck there for a week!) there was no hot foot available & it’s a very long walk back up (very very steep!!) into town for food. Until the owner is prepared to spend some time/money on this property I would avoid like the plague. The whole road leading to the hotel was under construction also that we hadn’t been warned about so had to abandon our car and drag our cases along an unmade road. The list goes on…. I am just glad we were only booked in for 1 night as they wouldn’t cancel our booking either."

"We had a 14 night stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Carmelo is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Tina the cleaning lady bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and that your room is clean, refreshed, well stocked with fresh towels, linens, etc. All staff are great . Breakfast is included alrhough if your looking to start your day off with proteins, you will be disappointed. Breakfast consits of croissants in assorted varieties, cakes, cookies, there is sliced bread and a toaster, assortment of jams, and spreads, fruit is limited, there are hard boiled eggs, the coffee is very dissapointing as its not freshly brewed but through a machine that uses k-cups ..the breakfast was the same day in day out. The orher thing is the hotel does not have assigned or designated parking for their guests. So we arrive back at the end of your day you might find yourself driving around the block a few times before you land a parking spot close to the hotels entrance. The door to the hotel is at times a challenge to unlock..not an easy task. There are also 4 flights of stairs to do to get to your room. The hotel is in a great location, many gelaterias, bars, amenities close by. The hotel always smelled lovely, and fresh, having AC was a blessing. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend Hotel Marconi."
