Not well kept at all, especially for the price. The fridge was broken the whole time- first it froze everything, then it was completely off with flies coming out, then after two days of us hounding them they finally “fixed” it which meant getting it right back to freezer levels again. We were there for six days, and we were told they would replace the fridge “tomorrow” essentially the whole time, until we stopped asking. The sink in the bathroom got backed up very easily. The cleaning done between guests was minimal, at best, and the floors left our socks dirty from the first day. This is not to mention the overall dinginess of the room- scuffs on the walls and furniture, stains on the shower curtain, hair from past guests We weren’t given a fitted sheet at all, just two regular ones, and due to the mismatched size we woke up multiple times to a discolored mattress protector because the sheets moved in the night. Not nearly enough parking for the number of rooms, and the building itself is run down (the deck above the entrance seems to be sloping-we did not risk standing out there). Didn’t even try with the coffee maker, as it looked disgusting and I didn’t want to drink anything made in that room. Other reviews online have mentioned roaches and bed bugs, which was luckily not our experience but is not at all surprising considering the overflowing garbage in the entry and fly colony that came with it. Every day we stayed here we regretted not going to the Holiday Inn nearby.

First room I checked into has an AC unit that screeched and a bathroom covered in mold. Second room he let me in had a beeping fire alarm right outside plus no working key. The man at the front desk told me I would have to come ask him to let me in every time I left. Third room was the best of the three, until I noticed an adult bedbug on my mom’s pillow. I looked on my bed and immediately saw a baby bedbug too. We brought them to the front desk and asked for a refund as we were clearly not going to stay at a hotel with bedbugs. He said he would refund me but that hasn't been the case so far. Spend a few dollars extra and stay at the Holiday Inn across the street.

We found this place easily. It was nice and close to the things we wanted to do . We liked the fridge and microwave. Not a huge room but it was just what we needed for our stay . For light sleepers putting the fan on in the unit covered any traffic noise .

For the price it’s just fine but no soap? I’m too lazy to get some but it sure would be nice! Right? Right! I came to Marin to see a friend so it’s fine and super convenient for Mill Valley. Last night I stayed at Acqua and that was great but much more $ I will definitely come here again because of the inexperience price. The people who work here are very friendly and it’s a pleasure talking with them. They sped up the cleaning for my check in which was great. I’m on the first floor so you hear everything from above. I recommend asking for a room on the second floor as it’s more quiet. I’m perfectly satisfied and I go to a lot of motels. I recommend it for a short stay. No frills but Yayyy it’s in Marin County.

Cute hotel overall, we enjoyed our stay. Wash machine and dryer were outside, $4 to use each machine which I thought was steep. Property overall was dirty, overflowing garbage cans. A bit difficult to get in and out of the parking lot due to the very busy road it’s on. Vegetation could be cut back to make it easier and safer to get out of the lot. Noisy traffic at night being so close to the road.

Great Find in the Bay Area!
This place was a pleasant surprise! The rooms are updated and very clean. Free parking. 8 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. Bed was comfortable. It has everything you need!

Nearby Muir Woods and felt comfortable. Shower was pretty small and if planning to use washer/ dryer for clothes they are outside under the overhang vs a dedicated space.

The pillows and the bedsheet smelled like it wasn't changed! The bed was itchy too, it may have bedbugs! Not too crazy for the high sink - looks like a big pot sitting on the counter.

The frontdesk did not tell me how to find the room. It took us with all luggage about 20 minutes to find the room because the room number is not in order. And there is no tag to show the direction. Also, the room given to us was not cleaned at all. I had to take all luggage back to the front desk to check again.

When I arrived for my stay, there was no one in the office, the door was locked, and no one would answer the phone. I had to go find a place to stay late at night due to this. I’d prepaid for the room which led me to paying for two hotels for one night. Can’t speak for the room as I obviously never saw it but I wouldn’t book here again.
