"First night there a downstairs room below us burnt popcorn or toast & the smell came up into our unit & the smell woke us up as it wafted through pipes & cabinetry. We panicked bc we thought maybe there was a fire or smoke but there wasn’t. We still called the unattended front desk after hours & didn’t get any answer, so we told the front desk about that the next morning. Also, 2 of the 4 nights we stayed the security alarm was tripped & going off on the 1st floor all night.
Room was clean, convenient, terrific to have a working kitchen, good sized fridge, huge dining table & 2 couches. Made our stay so much nicer. "
"We were told the double queen wasn't available - gave us a suite instead. The pull out queen wasn't as comfortable as the regular queen bed, but we didn't want to move on the 2nd night.
Otherwise, the stay was nice. Surprised we didn't get housekeeping at all in our stay."
"Fantastic inn for pet and recreation lovers. Very comfortable and spotless room. Staff is exceptional- my dog could not wait to visit in the lobby. Such a wonderful stay I didn't want to leave!"
"Clean cozy room with two beds. Definitely disappointed that this one didn’t have a coffee maker like the one bedroom we stayed in last time but other than that we were very satisfied. We had a stalker this time and the staff were right quick to get rid of her. Extremely helpful and appreciated!! I’ll be back "
"This hotel has a fabulous location regarding Lake Winnipesaukee. I stayed there in March of 2025 and 2026 and both times paid a "resort fee" which consisted of nothing. The hotel staff were very nice. My room was clean, but run down. The furniture was scratched, gauged, and set up on blocks of wood. I will say the linens were clean, the amenities were so-so. This hotel is taking advantage of its central location. In March, location doesn't matter. No one is going to enjoy the lake, the beach, the boating, everything New Hampshire has to offer in summer months during the month of March. "
"No housekeeping or housekeeper. Several disturbing visits unannounced by the live-in housekeeper asking personal questions and looking to gossip n challenge this customer's rights to privacy and refund. Fraudulently identification given for the purposes of money refunds n private information. Never asked if anything was needed on the room."
