"This is not a proper hotel, but an ex BT training centre which is huge and has a labyrinth of corridors to basic, small rooms. My room was miles from reception! Think more basic than Premier Inn. Food is average in a canteen. No other places to eat nearby, Best part is the Nuffield leisure centre opposite which has a great pool, steam and sauna. Remember to take a towel from your room though, as none provided and it’s a huge walk back! Plenty of free parking. "

Furniture ok but dated. Pool used by baby & toddler swimming company much of the time, so restricted to one guest family at a time and you have to book a time at reception when busy."

. Staff were always on hand and helpful. Only grip is that there was only 1 milk per person in the room. 2 would be better to save the trip to reception. Only on departure did we find the socket by the bed. I did want to charge my phone overnight next to me. Breakfast was amazing with plenty available of fruit, cold meats and cooked. Definitely will return"

"After a dreadful journey, the receptionist was very helpful & advised me that there was a wedding the following day & recommended to go down to breakfast the day after early. I was not disturbed by the wedding guests. The location was good & there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was good! The only slight inconvenience was that i was told that the bar shut at midnight on Saturday & when I got back at 11.45pm I was told this was not the case. However this did not spoil my stay & I would stay...
