"First time staying at the hotel. We arrived late after 9pm so had to locate the night porter to get our room key. The hotel doesn't have a traditional reception, so checkin before 9pm uses the bar and after, the night porter is in a separate office away from the main building. The room was spotless, something that is rare these days. The bedding and the bathroom all looked very new. Firm bed, with a mattress topper was ok for us, however the pillows were too deep for me. We stayed on a room only basis, so can't comment on the food and drink options but overall we were pleasantly surprised. If the hotel read this review, I should mention the light outside room 9 was blinking all night, something I should have mentioned on check out."

"Perfect if you are attending gullivers! Really fun for the children-dinosaur theme was great and lots to do once checked in, good disco venue and ice creams after. Restaurant was also perfectly fine for a quick bite. The lodge itself was a bit dated and in need of a spruce up but fine for a few nights. Our boiler was not operating properly so not much hot water either. Great to have an oven and hob, kettle, toaster, a fridge freezer and microwave."
