Beautiful, clean rooms, and gorgeous, very spacious kitchen, living room and dining room. The common areas are shared amongst guests from about eight other rooms, but it still feels very private. We will definitely be staying here again.

Kinn Guesthouse Not For Us
While it’s nice to have a safe check in via a code for all entries including front door, elevator, and room. The lack of in-person staff was strange and not to our liking.We found it extremely difficult to get prompt valet service either dropping off or picking up our car! It took multiple tries to get through to a live person with the numbers they had posted around the entry and lobby. Getting both cut off and getting an answering machine! We waited a long time to get our car picked up to be taken to their off site parking garage.They wanted us to leave our keys in a box for the eventual car pick up. Someone from the valet did finally come to our room to get the keys to put our car in the proper garage. Which we appreciated. Getting the car the next morning took longer than expected as well. Our room was nice and both the room and bath were very clean. The bed and pillows were okay though not as luxurious as we had expected. The whole experience is very hands off and remote. Not for us as a couple.

Love this concept and the hotel. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious with huge communal areas that were very well done. My wife wasn't feeling well and the owner/manager offered to stop by Walgreens to help out. You will enjoy the experience.

Overall experience at this hotel was a 12/10. Beautiful, spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Would recommend to anyone visiting Milwaukee.

New favorite hotel...
Gorgeous - the hotel architecture and interior design are stunning. The rooms are large and have floor-to-ceiling windows. The owner introduced himself and was extremely accommodating. I will be staying here again!

Staying at the Kinn downtown was ab absolute pleasure in every way. Charles was an exceptional host from the moment we arrived. He was incredibly accommodating with a request for an early check-in, greeted us upon arrival, personally handled our valet, and even provided us with a bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate our anniversary. The property is an exceptional value compared to the other comparable options in the general vicinity. If you want to be centrally located down by the Historic 3rd Ward / East Town, this is the spot. Safe walking distance to all the breweries, bars, and restaurants you’d ever need. The property was clean, well staffed, and secure. The room was as described, and very comfortable. The common area was in great shape and very well appointed.

One of my favorite hotels ever
Amazing building and atmosphere. Beautiful room and common area with fantastic amenities. The check in process is extremely easy and unique. We also met the owner of the hotel, who was very kind and gave us recommendations for the city. Would love to stay again.

Disappointed, Had high hopes.
We were extremely disappointed we were given a different room than we chose at booking for our stay. We chose this hotel specifically because we wanted one of the green rooms. (It was an anniversary trip) We ended up with a pink room on the alley. :( There is no vending in the hotel. So no food available in the evening after our event. We will book elsewhere on the next trip to Milwaukee.

I cannot be responsible 1 )for your choices and 2) how expedia runs its' website. had you booked through us, I would've given you an immediate, automatic upgrade. also, had you mentioned you were disappointed w your stay, I would've done whatever I could to help you out AND given you complimentary champagne for your anniversary.

It's a great location. We had the entire floor to ourselves (travelled mid week). The rooms are spacious and the extra living space with gourmet kitchen is a major bonus. We loved having it to ourselves but wished we could have hung out with other guests over beers as I think was intended in the concept. The building has been thoughtfully renovated and once the bar downstairs is finished it will be great. This is a hidden gem.

Beautiful hotel
Check in was seamless. Got a text with door codes. Worked perfect. Valet was convenient. Rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen/shared space was unexpectedly so convenient and we used constantly. Only complaint....the pillows. Barely slept and woke up with terrible neck pain.

The interior was stylish and wonderful. However, the soundproofing was poor, so I woke up at night to the sound of cars and motorcycles, and it was disappointing that breakfast was not provided.

I booked this through Hotels.com. However in error I booked the wrong date and immediately called the hotel to see if I could change my date. They changed it for me and that was that. I stayed and they charged me a $50 change fee that they NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT. So needless to say, after several phone calls they refused to reimburse me. It is a nice place to stay very convenient, however, because of the lack of communication and getting stuck paying an additional $50 change fee, I will not stay here again. It also was a bit weird checking in with an app and getting into your room that way. No person is available on site. I get that there is new technology, but this lacks knowing someone is there if you need them.

Incredible hotel, will absolutely stay here again!
The Kinn Guesthouse is a gem! Beautiful furnishings and decor. High ceilings, great atmosphere. Very quiet. And the shared spaces are useful and gorgeous. I loved having the self check-in and out system with no key to fish out of my purse. Would love to stay here again!

Great location for weekend getaway.
This is not your typical hotel! It is completely keyless. Self-check-in. When you go to your floor there is a fully equipped common kitchen, a conference room with sitting area and huge flat screen tv, and another sitting area with a huge flat screen tv and a couple of table to sit at. The kitchen had Wolf appliances and each room has a bin in the fridge. Go past the kitchen area to get to the hallway with all the rooms.The rooms have very high ceilings and each one is unique. The rooms are very comfortable. Plenty of space for all your travel gear. Conveniently located. There are lots of places to eat very close by. If you need any recommendations, Mike, the manager is extremely helpful!

Very well appointed decorations. The shared areas for each floor is really a nice touch. I stayed at the Kinn Guesthouse on the south side when it first opened. They have definitely outdone themselves on the new location!

what an absolutely amazing property. not really an air bnb and not really a hotel, The Kinn perfectly finds the sweet spot between them both. incredible spacious rooms with great amenities. the common area is a cool concept. great full kitchen and lounging area. plenty of private fridge space. you will definitely meet and talk to other guests in this area. we enjoyed meeting interesting guests from Canada and Germany. the location is perfect and within walking distance of many sights and restaurants. the valet parking was always timely regardless of the time of day. the real gem of this property, and the feature that makes it all worthwhile is the manager Michael. I have never meant a more friendly and helpful person. his recommendations for dining and things to do were always spot on. trust me, take his advise and you will not be disappointed! Either in person or via text, Michael was always available and attentive to our needs. saying goodbye to Michael after our 4 day stay was like saying goodbye to family! My family has stayed at plenty of boutique hotels over the years, but The Kinn Guesthouse and Michael are truly head and shoulders above all the rest. make your reservation now, you will not regret it!!

I am not sure what I love more about the Kinn Guesthouse...the very cool vibe and space or the location. Walkable to the river, the Summer Fest, the Public Market...you name it. This place is the coolest concept that I have ever seen and I am positive we will be back. All of the perks of a hotel AND all of the perks of AirBNB. Beautiful shared living area with room specific refrigerator space. Coffee! Dining Table! Living room space! So many fantastic restaurants nearby and you can actually warm up your left overs! Want to pick up fresh goods at the Public Market and cook a beautiful dinner in? Everything that you need for that too. This would be a great place for a family gathering or a work retreat. Friendly staff on site and lovely rooms. 5 Stars across the board!

Nice new place. Each floor has a large common area with breakfast items like yogurt, cereal and coffee accessible at all times. Nice large shower, comfortable bed and good water pressure. And valet parking! Friendly manager and great location as well.
