"The check-in process went very smoothly, and the staff was pleasant. I was placed in the very last room at the back of the building. While the room seemed clean enough, there were several maintenance and condition issues that were disappointing for the price. The walls were stained, the curtain was partially broken, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off.
Additionally, the bathroom pipes were leaking, and I had to use the waste basket to catch the dripping water during my stay. The doors would also rub against the floor and then slam shut, so there was constant noise from doors slamming throughout the building.
Overall, I just do not feel this stay was worth the $215 I spent."
"It was a clean place and they took a lot of care of that in both the rooms and dining area. I really dislike how much throw away plastic is used but that seems to be the case in every hotel. However I nearly fell while getting into and out of the bathtub/shower as there was no anti-slip surface in the tub or grab bars. I think it should be addressed. Thank you"
"The room was nice and the breakfast was ok. The only complaint was the iron in the room was old, did not heat up and leaked water all over my blouse, I called the front desk and a replacement was bought to the room emediatly. "
"A perfect place to stay. Very reasonable price, very clean property and pleasant check in.
My three major criteria for room evaluation are 1) quality of bed and pillows 2) excellent TV with a good variety of channels and 3) a great shower in the morning - enough hot water, enough pressure and perfect temperature. Score! Score! and Score!
Bonus: parking is right outside your door.
This property doesn't offer amenities that other properties do and you save money accordingly. My next time in Marshall, I will be staying there again."
