Dining at Lido near Jakuba Kolasa Square, great value for money. Days out to Stalin Line and Mir Castle.
Check circus/music before booking flights. A very different experience to other East European/Baltic states. Little English spoken and few western tourists, you can pay by card for most things. Potato pancakes and parks are good. Keep an open mind.
Great city to visit
Interesting compact city. People are friendly
It is a very clean country, but people find difficult to communicate in English
