"I was supposed to stay with them back in December of 2025. Unfortunately, my sister passed away the very day I was supposed to fly out and check in. I called to see if they could offer a refund given the circumstances, and I even offered to provide documentation as proof. Sadly, corporate said they would make no exceptions. This was very disappointing and honestly felt extremely insensitive. I understand that businesses have policies, but I believe there should also be room for compassion and understanding during unexpected life tragedies. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable booking with Hyatt again or recommending them to others."

"This is a lovely little Inn right next to the river. They serve a nice breakfast and I really enjoyed the cozy sitting area in the lobby with a fire. It Was very peaceful UNTIL my last night when the Fire Alarm went off 3 Times !! 7pm, 9:30pm & 11:40pm..... there was no fire. It was a surprise to the staff as well as the guests and went on for a very long time. I spoke to the front guest on check out about some kind of compensation for this Major disruption. I was told my number would be given to the manager but here it is 5 days later with No response. I found this very disappointing considering how well the Inn appeared to be fun. This is why it does not have a perfect rating from me."
