"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. The food was incredible. I felt super safe. I didn’t want to leave. A must visit - and please do as the Sri Lankan people need visitors right now. "

"Overall very nice ocean front facility, rooms are clean, older but comfortable. AC works well. Staff though not very well trained are trying their best to be helful. "Not clean. Internet very bad. Owner said she would not purchase more gigabytes that I was downloading. I told her I wasn’t. Then said I was watching too many videos. There wasn’t a tv for the evening so I did watch some videos but I have never had this problem when I have booked with Expedia at any other property. "The villa is so big and clean,really surprise.It is so suitable for 8 friends together.The host is so nice and friendly,we arrived at villa at 10pm,so late,but he still waited for us.Another surprise is it has hot water to have a bath,it is so scarce in Sri Lanka.The one and only regret is,you know,in Sri Lanka ,there are many ants and other insects.And in our bathroom,there were many ants,but don't care about it ,they will leave and it didn't influence your trip.So, enjoy the villa,and enjoy...
