"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. "The location is great and very convenient, but unfortunately that’s the only positive. The host never responded to any messages, making communication extremely difficult. The property photos — many items shown are old, broken, or completely unusable. There was no outdoor lighting, and the glasses were dusty and poorly maintained. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the location is your only priority."

"I cannot imagine staying at a better ryokan. The property is beautiful and immaculate. The staff ran to greet us on the street and was very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Miyu was our incredible hostess and she was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The room comfortable and clean. I hope we have an opportunity to return."

"Onsen and footbath in the room/balcony in a private setting plus projector and the location are all worth the price. Flexibility in checkout time by even an hour was not entertained and in general no changes post reservation. Some snacks and drinks were complimentary and a nice tpuch.
