"I was originally going to rate this hotel 7/10.
The value for money is good. If you're expecting luxury service and a five-star experience, this probably isn't it. But the room was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For the price, it was a solid choice.
Then, shortly after we left, the hotel called us.
My husband had accidentally left his jacket in the room, and we hadn't even noticed it was missing yet. The staff had already found it, contacted us, and were ready to help arrange getting it back.
That level of care genuinely impressed me.
It's easy to provide a decent room. It's how a business handles things when something goes wrong that really shows the quality of its service.
So I'm changing my rating.
