"We had a lovely stay at the Malaga Inn. We stayed in the older original part of the hotel. I can imagine this hotel was quite the place in its heyday! Although some little places are showing their age, we could not fault our stay. The beds were very comfortable, large rooms with beautiful antiques. The courtyard is beautiful with its fountain and abundance of foliage and plants, a peaceful, relaxing area to sit and drink coffee in the morning. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the Inn. Plenty of parking and a quiet area. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mobile! "

"I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Mobile, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness and basic upkeep were not a priority. The bed sheets were visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about sanitation. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable — surfaces appeared unclean, and it did not feel like the room had been properly prepared for a new guest. To make matters worse, the refrigerator still contained drinks left behind by a previous occupant, which was both unpleasant and unprofessional. The bathroom was in poor condition as well. The walls showed peeling paint, and the floorboards throughout the room were damaged and worn. I even encountered bugs during my stay, which made the environment feel even more uncomfortable and unhygienic. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not recommend staying at this location. I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance from a Marriott property."
